In Spanish, what’s the difference between a camino and sendero?

A sendero is a narrow camino formed by the transit of people whose width is less than the Vereda, the width necessary for the passage of livestock, so it can only be traveled by people on foot.
In general, the paths are found in rural mountain areas, their current use is more tourist and sporting than as a means of communication.
