Can you write something important

Can you write something important?

Pot and kettle.

Of course it rankles.
So much gloating from the other side.
Esteemed voices from Pakistan are celebrating the Modi rule as the best thing to have happened to Pakistan.
The poem ' Tum bilkul hum jaise nikle' reverberates in drawing rooms and on talk shows.
And everybody is holding their collective breath for the next award to be returned, the next lynching to happen, the next nail to be hammered into the coffin that is Secular India.

In one fell swoop, we have lost bragging rights and that hurts.
As people and countries, so much of our sense of wellbeing depends on being better than the 'other'.
Our achievements and our progress is always measured vis a vis the growth trajectory of the neighbour or a colleague or a sibling.
So we can afford to be generous, magnanimous, even kind, to the the struggling other.
But if he suddenly ups and offers solicitous counsel, it is a bit hard to stomach.

India's soft power is its backbone.
There is no disagreement on that, wherever we stand on the political spectrum.
India, as a brand, has to be nurtured and bolstered.
We are in danger of losing our equity and our sheen, and as joint custodians of a vibrant and colourful heritage, we cannot be absolved if that happens.
The silence of the government has resulted in the cacophony in the media.
The foot in mouth disease that the politicians suffer from has inspired selective outrage in the culture vultures, and the sense of victim hood plays in our heads like earworm while the fringe elements make hay.
The doppelgänger smirks sympathy, meanwhile.

So back to bragging rights.
We have to reclaim them.
And in the process, if we become more tolerant, less shrill, more accommodating, less encroaching, so be it.
We can deal with this residue.
After all, the best revenge is to live well.

EVERYRHING IN THIS COSMOS IS IMPORTANT

Everything is important in life.
Because each and every action in our life has its equal and opposite reaction.
Everything that we do must be from the conscious state of mind.

Beside that each and every action we do add a credit for us.
So, i always consider all the things which we do is important for our peaceful and happy life.
